(Shenzhen, October 15, 2025) – With crisp autumn air and pleasant weather, it is the perfect time for outdoor activities. Last Saturday, more than 20 colleagues from HODONET temporarily bid farewell to codes and circuits and launched a casual and freewheeling autumn urban cycling trip. Without unified clothing or rigid formations, everyone dressed in comfortable casual wear, set off from the company, and cycled freely along Shenzhen Bay. Laughter filled the journey, deepening mutual understanding in a relaxed atmosphere and revealing the more dynamic sides of each other beyond work.

HODONET Autumn Leisure Cycling Team Building Recap

Unlike large-scale team building events, the flexibility of the small team made this cycling trip full of impromptu fun. Colleagues formed small groups of three or five, chatting about technical trends and interesting life stories while riding; some occasionally raced each other to experience the thrill of chasing the wind. Amidst the sea breeze and green shade, the concentration on R&D and the rigor of the office were transformed into relaxed smiles and mutual care.

During the ride, everyone stopped casually at scenic spots to rest and take photos. Some shared snacks they brought, while others acted as "temporary tour guides," telling stories about the landmarks along the way. This informal communication quickly brought colleagues from different departments closer together, with discussions on technical challenges and recommendations for the latest movies intertwining in a delightful way.

Upon reaching the destination, instead of holding a formal ceremony, everyone sat in a circle on an open lawn to enjoy the self-prepared lunch. A participating R&D colleague sighed: "Usually, our communications mostly revolve around projects and codes. Today, I discovered that the 'teammate' sitting next to me is actually a hidden photography expert and food enthusiast. Such relaxation has given us a warmer understanding of 'team'."

For a lean team like HODONET, depth and quality are far more important than form and scale. This cycling trip is a microcosm of the company's emphasis on humanistic care and advocacy for work-life balance. With refreshed spirits and closer connections, everyone continues to dive into the technological cause of creating efficient connectivity.
